LENDY HENSLEY

Co-Founder of the Seattle Artist League, Lendy has a keen vision for good art, and a talent for motivating people in positive directions. She is a natural orchestrator of fun. Think our art events are fun? That’s Lendy.

Growing up in Virginia, Lendy spent hours of her childhood watching her mother paint, wishing she could be an artist. Lendy came to painting later in life. After building a successful Seattle-based catering business (now reborn as a very cool gift basket company), Lendy began taking art classes. With Ruthie as one of her teachers, she quickly discovered the joy of applying paint to canvas, and dedicated herself to learning everything about it.

There is no more approachable, supportive, fun person to paint with other than Lendy Hensley.
