Jia Jia

Jia Jia is a visual artist based in Seattle. Through the exploration of different medias, her work demonstrates how individuals continuously redefine their identity and value in a world shaped by globalization and migration under the pressure of societal norms.

“As a foreigner living in the US, I question myself how I can be an adapter for living; how I understand myself as a product to be inefficient and non-productive under the current globalization; in the cultural digesting process, how I against the power and violence in a hidden way.
