Courage, Resilience, and Connection
At Seattle Artist League, we’re more than a school. We’re a community of makers who come together to learn, grow, and create.
In a world that can feel isolating and overwhelming, art gives us the courage to try new things, the resilience to navigate challenges, and the connection we need to thrive. Yet for many aspiring artists, access to creative opportunities can feel out of reach.
Your support makes it possible for us to:
- Provide scholarships for youth, teens, and adults who need financial assistance.
- Supply tools and materials like pottery equipment, painting kits, and drawing supplies.
- Update and maintain studio spaces so that everyone has a welcoming place to create.
As one of our students shared:
“When I get stressed, art is the first thing to go. But when I go too long without it, I start to feel impatient and angry, even with the people I love. My creative time is essential to my week—it helps me stay grounded.”
Now more than ever, we need spaces like this. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the courage, resilience, and connection that art brings to our lives.

MEMBERSHIP
We offer membership at many different levels. You support the school and receive benefits in return — from swag to early enrollment opportunities to member-only events.
Members are the heart of the league and we work hard to show appreciation for their support throughout the year. Big League Members and above receive 10% off classes.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We believe that art should be accessible to everyone. If you would like to take a class but aren’t able to pay the full tuition, the League can help.
