Comics are a unique form of art that combine words and pictures to tell a story. Do you love comics? Want to know how to create your own? In this art camp, participants will learn the basics of storytelling with pictures. Whatever your personal style, and whatever story you have to tell, you can create it in comics. Lessons will review the basics of panel layouts, developing characters and locations, and putting them all together to tell a story with your unique art style. This camp is for ages 9 – 12 and is perfect for kids who doodle, daydream and love to read comics.
Covid Statement: The Seattle Artist League currently requires masking for all students and teachers. We will evaluate the policy before the start of camps. Please check back for updates.
