Wind Chimes

Create your own unique wind chimes. Over the course of three sessions, you’ll learn the basics of working with clay and explore various techniques to construct beautiful wind chimes that add song to your environment.
During the workshop, you’ll be introduced to essential hand-building techniques and various design ideas for musical chimes. We’ll also delve into surface decoration techniques, such as carving, stamping, and painting, allowing you to bring your wind chimes to life with vibrant glazes and colors. Then you’ll assemble your wind chimes and add the finishing touches.
No prior ceramic experience is necessary for this workshop. All materials and tools will be provided. Join us to discover the joy of creating your own personalized ceramic wind chimes!
Come dressed comfortably, with clothes that can get messy.
Pottery Classes at the Seattle Artist League
Join us for pottery classes in our 2,700 square foot studio in Seattle’s Georgetown Arts District. We offer classes for beginning ceramics in wheel throwing, hand-building, firing, and glazing. Our pottery classes are open to beginners and intermediate potters.
