- Single session 4 hour workshop for art models
In this class we will cover everything you need to know to get started as an art model. We’ll talk about posing, working with artists, the different environments you might work in, finding work, what you can expect to be paid, and what’s expected of you as a professional. There will be time to practice posing, and in the second half of the class we will invite artists into the studio to draw and paint while you pose. You will not be paid.
Some art modeling sessions are nude, some are not. But to find work as an art model you must be comfortable posing nude. Please expect to pose nude during this class. Please bring a robe; you may also wish to bring slippers. Good art models are always in demand. Art models come in all shapes, sizes, ages and genders.
