Late in his career, Picasso had a small pet owl that he was very fond of, and he created many artworks inspired by the bird, including a series of sculptures and vessels in clay.
This fun and friendly class will introduce kids to a variety of ways to make pots including a range of hand and wheel throwing techniques. They will play with coil and pinch methods, as well as spending some time learning to throw on the wheel. Decoration will include a variety of colorful slips and glazes. Pottery will be microwave and dishwasher safe.
ALL LEVELS, TEEN
