$240.00

  • Teacher: Lyall Wallerstedt
  • Student Age: 13 -17 years old
  • Class Length: 5 Days
  • Date: July 10 – 14
  • Time: 9:30 – 12:30 pm

This intensive class will introduce a variety of approaches to gestural figure drawing. Focus will be on style, proportion, value, and composition. Students will use charcoal, pens, and pastels on newsprint. They will draw from a clothed or costumed model, with poses ranging from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.

This classical foundation class is great for students thinking about going into art, fashion, design, architecture, illustration, and more.

Materials will be provided. Our small classes sizes mean lots of 1:1 attention. Students who take a morning and afternoon session will have supervised studio time between classes.

For teens wanting an immersive ceramics education who take both morning and afternoon sessions of 2-D classes and work on a single or multiple week individualized course of study (and fun).

Covid Statement: The Seattle Artist League currently requires masking for all students and teachers. We will evaluate the policy before the start of camps. Please check back for updates.
