This camp is for ambitious young artists who are aspiring to go farther with their artistic skills.
In this 5 day camp, students will draw from observation and the model, using a variety of approaches to build a strong representation of still life, portrait, and figurative work. We will practice a range of skills and visual responses. We will work with a variety of mediums such as graphite, vine and compressed charcoal on high quality paper. Students will also spend time learning how to present, and how to talk about their work.
Artists are encouraged to bring examples of their work to share with the instructor. Tools and materials will be provided – materials included in price.
