We’ll start by pressing and shaping the clay into all kinds of festive holiday forms. Think traditional stars, santas, reindeer, or go more cat and cat lady inspired. Dreaming of a ceramic pizza slice to hang on your tree? We’ve got you covered. How about an Icelandic Yule cat, or a festive Jimothy? The possibilities are as endless as your holiday spirit!
Once your ornaments are shaped, it’s time to get wild with the decorating. Go minimal with a chic, glazed snowflake or deck them out with vibrant underglazes in every color of the holiday rainbow. Paint a whimsical scene or an homage to your family’s wackiest traditions (anyone else have a pickle ornament?). Or go classy—maybe a sophisticated Saint Nicolas to impress the in-laws.
If you’re more into merry madness, let’s go big! Think ornaments so fabulously quirky they’ll make Aunt Carol’s knitted reindeer sweaters look subtle.

Pottery Classes at the Seattle Artist League
Join us for pottery classes in our 2,700 square foot studio in Seattle’s Georgetown Arts District. We offer classes for beginning ceramics in wheel throwing, hand-building, firing, and glazing. Our pottery classes are open to beginners and intermediate potters.
