(Accumulated Marks — 2 sessions, 3 hrs each)
A focused weekend study in tonal structure and expression. Through short and sustained portraits, you’ll explore how accumulated marks build form, weight, and atmosphere. Each exercise isolates one element—edge, value, or plane—to strengthen clarity and control. The aim is not likeness but vitality: a portrait that feels built by light.
- Strathmore (or any brand) Sketch Paper 14×17”
