- Teacher: Erin Milez
- Course Length: 8 sessions
What creates more drama and mood than lighting? Interiors are one of the few places with very controlled and directed light sources. In this course, we will work to understand light logic and how it applies to the human form in interior spaces. Working both from the model and (in some cases) student’s personal reference images, students will learn how to render form and recognize light effects on different material surfaces, like clothing, flesh, or wood. Students should expect to work in limited palettes to refine their understanding of value as well as warm/ cool temperature relationships.
