Oil Painting II

This class is for students who have taken Beginning Oil Painting at least once.

This class picks up where Beginning Oil Painting leaves off with a structured exploration of color theory. How do develop a palette for your painting?  How do you find the colors your painting needs?

Through a series of charts, journals, and color sketches, students will expand their palette and comfort with paint mixing. In this class for oil painters, color theory will expand into practical applications for more fascinating and useful ways of seeing, organizing, and making colors. Using inspirations from nature, design, and photography, this class will lead painters into a new series of color expressions, depth and mood.
