Please check your junk folders, and if you have have not received your class info, please contact us (contact@seattleartistleague.com) 15-30 minutes before your class begins so we can reply with the login codes. We will get you into your class.

Nature Watercolor Postcards

  • Teacher: Willow Heath
  • Class Length: 6 sessions
  • Class Days: Weekly on Wednesdays, beginning 11.1 (Class will not meet on November 22nd)
  • Time: 10AM – 12PM Noon (PST)
Paint a series of loose nature themed watercolor postcards of landscapes, birds, trees, feathers, skies, and more with artist, illustrator, and wilderness enthusiast Willow Heath. Demystify watercolors while learning foundational techniques, color mixing, and watercolor special effects in a relaxed online art studio environment. Follow along with Willow’s live demonstrations and step by step tutorials while receiving answers to your watercolor questions and feedback on your work.

Materials List 

• 140lb cotton watercolor paper.  Recommended: 9×12 cut into 9×6 pieces.
• Watercolor paints, professional quality. Recommended: Winsor & Newton 12 pan pocket set or 12 tube palette set.
• Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-6. Recommended: Princeton Select series round
• 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch. Recommended: Princeton Select synthetic flat
• 1 pencil
• 1 roll Scotch 3M Delicate Surface Painter’s Washi Tape .7
• 1 Sakura Gelly Roll, white gel pen .08 or .10
• Paper towels
• Scissors
