Scale up (or down ;)) your pottery skills with this Miniatures Wheel Throwing class! This class is intended for those with previous throwing experience who are comfortable centering and pulling clay. In this course you will review the basics of throwing and trimming but on a much smaller scale. You will also learn to throw off the hump (mugs, bowls, bottles, vases, etc…), make miniature handles, calculate scale for doll house work, and learn unique glazing techniques that will help bring your tiny creations to life. The skills used in throwing small scale will help with things like spouts for teapots, handles on lids, adding intricate details, and using tools in a more refined & precise way.

PREREQUISITE: Beginning Wheel 1, 2, and 3 (intermediate) or equivalent experience.

Come dressed comfortably, with clothes that can get messy.

Tools and materials will be provided – materials included in price.
