Beginning Pottery: Wheel ThrowingCome and get your hands dirty in this class for beginning and continuing throwers. Beginners will learn how to make cups, bowls, plates, vases and pitchers. Continuing throwers will learn ways to fine-tune basic techniques including ribbing, shaping, and altering. We will explore a variety of amazing decorating and surface techniques to add interest and character to your work to create beautiful handmade pottery that is both dishwasher and microwave safe.Join the amazing world of ceramics – the sky’s the limit!
Come dressed comfortably, with clothes that can get messy.

Pottery Classes at the Seattle Artist League
Join us for pottery classes in our studio in Seattle’s Georgetown Arts District. We offer classes for beginning ceramics in wheel throwing, hand-building, firing, and glazing. Our pottery classes are open to beginners and intermediate potters.
