Beginning Acrylic Painting FRIDAY EVENING begins 3.13

$475.00

  • Teacher: Jordan Horton
  • Course Length: 8 week session
  • Day: Fridays, beginning March 13
  • Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Acrylic is often the first paint people try—easy to set up, quick to dry, and forgiving to experiment with. This class is for beginners and for those who have already played with acrylics but want a solid foundation to build on. Students will learn the essentials: brush handling, paint consistency, color mixing, surfaces, and applications, while also having space to experiment and grow their own style. With lessons, demonstrations, and plenty of individual attention, you’ll expand what is possible and develop the skills needed for a sustained exploration into painting.

Like any painting medium, acrylic uses the same core principles of value, color, and composition. The difference is in the medium itself: acrylic dries fast, making it ideal for layering, reworking, and trying both transparent and opaque effects. This class introduces those unique qualities and shows how to use them to your advantage.

We’ve put together materials kits for our students—no trips to the store needed! You can easily buy them online with just a click. Check out the kits and order yours today at this link: Acrylic Painting Kit. It’s our way of making your learning experience smoother and more affordable.
